Segundo a publicação, as negociações com o zagueiro vascaíno chegou em estágio avançado, porém Dedé teria optado poer permanecer no Brasil.
Além do Queens Park Rangers, mesmo time do goleiro Julio Cesar também especulado no Vasco, mais recentemente o Milan também foi apontado como interessado no "O Mito".
